Ann Lamont says… Grace meets us where we are and does not leave us where it found us.
Grace to me is the axis point to which a life of healing rotates. It is the acceptance that is essential to move forward, to love ourselves and others. Grace says I love you as you are, where you are. Grace says you are enough without any conditions or exceptions. Grace does not have to be earned or acquired. Grace just is. She’s there waiting to be seen, available to be had. In stillness, grace shows herself, and we see her.
Grace
Grace is the sweet taste I savor on my tongue
Grace is as expansive as the shimmering ocean
She is the vastness and the brilliance of the sky above
Grace is the warmth of the sun shining down on my back
Grace is the pouring rainfall that quenches my thirst
Grace is the nourishment the soil provides
Grace is the cool beauty you find in the morning droplets
Grace lives in the atmosphere waiting patiently
She does not have to be beckoned, just noticed
